West Virginia Food Box Missions Project

Working with several other churches in our area, CRFBC is working to spread the word of God’s love by helping to meet the physical needs of individuals living in economically depressed areas of West Virginia. Despite their small memberships, Harborlight Baptist Church in Oceana, WV, and Covel Baptist Church in Covel, WV, serve hundreds of families monthly through their food banks. CRBFC has accepted the challenge to assist these efforts by collecting non-perishable food items, delivering these items to West Virginia, and helping to distribute the boxes of food to the families who need them. This is an ongoing project with plans to contribute to this effort several times during the year.

 In December, our Unseasoned Souls youth group also held a successful toy drive that complemented our food drive. These toys, along with the food boxes, were delivered just before Christmas.
